digital self

I do not spend much of my time on social networking sites. The only one I belong to is facebook. I believe that facebook is the only social networking site, that is out now, that is useful to a person of my age and responsibility. I think that there are some people that it is acceptable for them to use the other networking sites, like twitter. I don’t think that a random teenager should have a twitter, but when it comes to someone like a poker player or a company, I think that it is definitely okay to have a twitter account. Poker players use twitter to update the status of whatever tournament they are playing so that the people paying for them to play can see how they are doing. I rarely use a computer to shop and I never pay my bills online. However, I do use online communications a lot. It is a good way to talk to your friends or family when face to face conversation is impossible. My actual self and my digital self are fairly similar. This is because I do not use digital technology that much so it has little effect on my life.

Emotions

I have been in love with FSU and its beautiful campus ever since the day I first saw it. Now that I am here, I feel as if I am home. I am extremely excited to explore everything this school has to offer. The only thing I was worried about before I got to FSU was the making friends part of the exploration. Luckily, I have some of my best friends at this college so it has not been hard to be outgoing and introduce myself to people when we go out. I am interested to see how I handle the heavy work flow I will come across in these college courses. Fortunately, all of these thoughts and emotions have not overwhelmed me yet. I am looking forward to conquering any obstacle that may present itself to me in the next four years.
